You have just been proposed to by the man of your dreams and the wedding day you have dreamt about is now coming into fruition. It is at this point that you realise there are a number of details that must be organised before walking down the aisle. Before finalising any details make sure you have an understanding of these basic details.
How many guests will you be inviting to attend your special day?
Before you approach any venues, ensure you have an approximate number of guests. This will allow you to narrow your search for venues to cater for your specific number. At Eschol Park House we have three function rooms that each cater for differing numbers (Garden <70, Regency <90 and QVB <180).
What time of year would you like your wedding to be in?
Consider the dates or seasons that are of significance to you and your partner. Have two or three dates picked out for your special day to ensure you provide venues with options. Consider the holidays that are surrounding your dates such as Christmas or Easter as this may reduce the availability of your guests. Consider the weather too, if there is a chance of rain or how hot it will be. At Eschol Park house, we have stunning gardens to host a beautiful outdoor ceremony and can cater for wet weather in the event of rain with a spacious drawing room. Our reception rooms are fully air-conditioned for those hot days!
What style wedding are you looking for?
Many brides will spend some time researching different styled weddings on the internet or at bridal fairs. Consider a style that will suit you and your partner, this will assist you as you narrow down venues for your special day. Eschol Park House is the perfect backdrop for your photos and can cater for many desired styles, such as our rustic wine cellars, beautiful cared for gardens and the grand exterior of the home. If you are after a more vintage look, inside the House there are fireplaces, historic paintings and beautiful little corners perfect for capturing the best shots!
What is the budget for my wedding day?
You need to consider how much you are willing to spend to bring your dream wedding to life. This may require you to enquire with a number of venues to explore the packages available and their inclusions. Eschol Park House provides an all-inclusive package to ensure your wedding day runs smoothly. All costs involved will be given to you upfront.
Who can I talk to?
Ensure you approach professionals such as venues or photographers for advice on how to coordinate your wedding. These professionals work in the field and should be willing to share their knowledge with you. Eschol Park house is available anytime via email or via phone Mondays through to Saturday 10am - 4pm.
