Terms & Conditions

BOOKINGS:             
A tentative booking may be made and kept for up to 8 days. On confirmation an $800.00 booking fee is required to reserve the room, time and date of your choice. If not confirmed within 8 days Eschol Park House has the right to re-open the date. Payment of your booking fee is your acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms and conditions of Eschol Park House.

PROGRESS:             
Three (3) months prior to your function please contact Eschol Park House to update details on your plans. A progress payment of $400.00 is also required at this stage.

FINAL NUMBER & PAYMENT:     
To be charged for, is the number notified to us two weeks prior to your function. Final numbers can be increased but not decreased. Note: Your final account is to be settled 96 hours (4 days) prior to your function by cash, bank cheque or direct debit.

MINIMUM NUMBERS:
A minimum of 50 adults is required for all packages.

TRANSFERRING OF BOOKING DATE:        
In the event of a function being transferred from one date to another a second deposit will be required. When the original date is re-let for a function of at least equal value, the full deposit and any progress will be returned. If it is not re-let the original deposit and any progress payment will be forfeited. All transfer requests must be notified in writing, and signed by both parties.

CANCELLATION:      
The booking fee and progress payments from a cancelled function will be refunded ONLY when the date is re-let, for a function of equal or greater value. A 50% handling fee will be retained by Eschol Park House. All Cancellations must be in writing, and signed by both parties.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Any payments made by credit card/charge cards will have a 5% surcharge imposed to cover commission payments and processing costs. Prices and Terms are subject to change without notice. Prices charged and terms will be those in effect 30 days prior to your function.

LIABILITY:
It is agreed that Eschol Park House shall not be responsible for the loss or damage of any personal property or gifts brought on to the premises by you or your guests. It is also agreed that Eschol Park House shall not be responsible for the death or personal injury of you and your guests, whilst on the premises or after the function, and we indemnify Eschol Park House against any claims in relation thereto. In addition it is agreed that you and your guests shall be financially responsible for any damage, or theft sustained to the property whilst at Eschol Park House.
